Captain's Log: Stardate 12442.4
At the end of May, the Enterprise was proud to participate in the Venice Yacht Club 2024 Memorial Day Weekend Blessing of the Fleet, where we had 17 boats gather in the Gulf of Mexico for a reef ceremony that pays tribute to members who have passed over the last year followed by a "parade" cruise to the VYC docks where each boat is announced and then blessed.

Some images:

On board were myself, Admiral Ellen, Past Commodore Gus Olsen and his wife Karla, and our club's Fleet Captain, Linda Alloway. And, oh yeah, enough pepperoni, cheese, crackers, and patriotic-themed cupcakes to feed a small country.

I'm happy to say the ship performed well and I believe everyone had a great time. I'm not so sure about Linda though, because as soon as we returned to the dock, she ran off the Enterprise so fast that we think she acheived warp speed:

The only part of the Enterprise that was not blessed was the Phasor (I swear I didn't name it) 8KW Generator, which appeared to be cursed. Thankfully, I expect that to be fully restored by this Thursday, more than a week before our upcoming long-range cruise back to the Florida Keys.
